Which house will you be sorted into?

This fun display pays homage to all four houses and the sorting process.  The hat on top sits at over 8" tall alone and is fun to paint with texture and dimension!  The hat comes solid black so you can dry brush the brown colors on top for an aged look.

The stand itself is just over 8 inches tall and has two levels.  In our example the raised feet and center post were highlighted with metallic paint for texture, but you can do any color or technique you like!

On the bottom layer we have four standing blocks, each representing their own house.  The 3D laser cut design is easy to paint separately, then glue on top.

The finished project is nearly a foot and half tall and would look wonderful in a classroom, as a Halloween decoration or as a display for any fan of the Wizard realm.  Order your own and customize with your preferred colors of paint and stain.  This project may be completed in the studio during our open paint hours or taken home as a take-home kit.  Paint, stain and supplies are included. 

If you do not want to paint your own project, we can do that for you.  Please allow 2 weeks for completion.

NOTE: This project will be part of the Wizard Summer Camp for kids.  We would hate for any family to purchase this and receive a duplicate in summer camp. :)

  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
