Come learn a new medium: Paper Quilling!  

We have two-layer 6” frames - choose a white or a black background and paint or stain your outline any of our studio colors.  Then we'll show you how to create beautiful swirls and shapes using strips of paper.  

Your kit includes: scissors, tweezers, quilling tool, sizing guide and glue bottle.  These tools are yours to keep.  The workshop is scheduled for 90 minutes.  It is possible that you will not finish your project, but you can take your kit home and finish.  

This workshop is being held upstairs in our new workshop.  If you are unable to use the stairs, please send a message to hammerandstaintooele@gmail.com and we will be happy to make arrangements for an alternate date or a main level seat.

If you are unable to attend the workshop you are welcome to order a take home kit or create in the studio during walk in hours after the workshop is held.  We will be able to give you basic instructions and help during that time.  If you are looking for more detailed instruction and help we recommend you attend the workshop.

How to Register

  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
