Join us for a special Wednesday evening class!

We have beautiful 8" eggs and bunnies made from gorgeous, thick acai wood.  We'll show you how to paint and stain your wood, then attach pressed flowers.  We'll finish the project with a glossy finish of two part resin.

Each person will receive one egg and one bunny, both are approximately 8" tall.  You'll have access to our full selection of paints and stains and each participant can choose one package of pressed flowers - but trade amongst yourselves if you like!  You are also welcome to bring your own pressed flowers (but be aware that really flat flowers work best).

There are no age restrictions, but it is important that the resin is mixed correctly to properly cure.  For this reason we don't recommend children participate unless closely monitored by another adult.  The resin will need to cure for 24 hours.  Projects may be picked up Friday or Saturday during our regular walk in hours.

Attendance for this class is required. It is not a project that can be completed during walk in hours because resin is messy and requires specialized set up.  There will be no refunds for no-shows.  Please contact us in case of illness or emergency at hammerandstaintooele@gmail.com so we can work with you on alternate arrangements.

Note: the unfinished wooden bunny and egg are samples of the projects you’ll make.  You can apply stain, paint, flowers and resin to both pieces in this workshop.

How to Register

  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
