 Join us for a mini workshop Saturday at 4pm.  Small class size, lots of fun!

Although they are called bedside book holders, these triangular contraptions are perfect for side tables, desks and anywhere you store your book.  An open book sits on top of the triangle, saving your place and looking amazing.  The interior of the triangle is left open - it's not only beautiful, but it's perfect to store your reading glasses, charge your phone or set your warm mug of coffee.

During the workshop you'll be able to color your project with any of our dozens of paints and stains.  Once that's complete we will have a selection of stencils available to decorate your project.  We will also do our best to create a custom stencil for you - maybe something based on your favorite book series, a monogram or flower. If you have a stencil request please enter a description in the personalization section.  Stencils will need to be fairly simple as it is a small area.

If you are unable to attend the workshop you can still order and then create your project during walk in hours any day after the workshop is held.  We will hold your project for 30 days.

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
